• 33 year old Thoroughbred Drink the Wind euthanized after attack by dogs.  Dogs euthanized following attack.  Incidents like this could be prevented if irresponsible owners would insure that the dogs in their care were properly contained and cared for.  This breed of dog does not need further incidences cited similar to this.  The uncaring lack of responsibility by these dog owners unfairly extends to owners who are anything but irresponsible and dogs of this breed who are fine canine citizens.  We are ultimately responsible for the animals in our care.

• Breeders' Cup enters into marketing partnership with Hong Kong Jockey Club.
