On 4/7/07 we sadly bid farewell to Hendrix.

Hendrix always gave his best and was lost following a tragic breakdown in the Arcadia Handicap at Santa Anita.  He was 6.  Hendrix is pictured above on October 4, 2006 at Keeneland with his muzzle firmly embedded in the hay net while taking in the view of the shed row.  The saddle cloth was worn in his 2nd place finish in the GII 2006 American Handicap at Hollywood Park.   RIP good boy.   Below are some photos taken in happier times.
