And forever, brother, hail and farewell!

~Catullus

Greetings, be they hello or good-bye, to our friends and companions in the Thoroughbred world.  They are the horses that run in our dreams and beckon us to undiscovered horizons.  Meet the foals of the new year, on their long and promising legs, as they race toward a future unknown and full of hope...  for hope is the quality which exists as a constant, and the driver that keeps us to the path.  Say good-bye and safe journey to our friends and racing heroes who have left us for greener pastures.  May they fly without wings until we meet again.

When a race horse is buried, most often, it is the head, heart, & hooves.

The head represents the will to win.

The heart represents courage.

The hooves represent speed.

Child of the pure, unclouded brow and dreaming eyes of wonder!

Though time be fleet and I and thou are half a life asunder,

The loving smile will surely hail

The love -gift of a fairy tale.

~Lewis Carroll

And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes,

is certain for those who are friends.
