God forbid that I should go to any heaven in which there are no horses.

Rest in Peace, Friends

Each person and horse made a difference to someone.

It is in this spirit that all are remembered.

In the words of Mark Twain, ""The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."

In an effort to prevent incorrect assumptions of death, every effort is made on these pages to substantiate the information with documentation.  Your  contributions are welcome with source information.

In loving memory of Purrrr...

?/?/? - 4/2/09

Yes, he's a cat.  Like so many horses, like so many animals, he was discarded by a previous owner who collected animals then lost interest.  He was a good cat, and grateful to find a loving home, if even for a short time.  We were appreciate for his proud attitude, despite what he must have gone through, and considered ourselves fortunate that he chose to give us his trust.  Purrrr was estimated to have been over 12 years old when he wandered into our life after his family no longer chose to feed or house him.  He was very ill at the end, of undetermined origin despite excellent veterinary care, but was kind enough to humor our efforts to help him.  Ultimately, we could not.  We will miss Purrrr...

Please remember that, with horses and other living beings, by choosing to include them in your life for whatever reason, you become and are responsible for their well being.  This applies to horses who are of no further gain either financially or emotionally.  You may have moved on, but they cannot.  Only through responsible caretakers can these creatures enjoy the life that someone thought, at one time, was a good idea.

Remembering friends who have gone before us...
