2008 Breeders' Cup races will be held October 24 -
25, 2008 at Oak Tree at Santa Anita

California Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger will
chair the 2008 Breeders' Cup Host Committee .
Breeders' Cup institutes medication regulations
regarding anabolic steroids, EPO, and
milkshaking.
Non
profit beneficiaries of this year's Breeders'
Cup will be St. Jude Children's Research and the
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a goal to raise at
least $250,000 for each. Additionally, the
Breeders' Cup will participate with other equine and
California charities to raise funds at the event.
ABC and ESPN to provide televised
coverage of Saturday, October 25 Breeders' Cup
races. ABC: 1 p.m. EST - 3:30 p.m. EST, and
ESPN 3:30 p.m. EST - 7 p.m. EST.
ESPN2 to air Friday, October 24
Breeders' Cup races from 12:30 p.m. EST - 6:30 p.m.
EST.
HRRN (Horse Racing Radio Network)
will broadcast audio.
Breeders' Cup Selection Show will air
on October 22 on ESPN2 with the time to yet be
announced.
2008
Breeders' Cup Challenge series of races has been
expan3ded.
Looking ahead to 2008, the Breeders'
Cup will add another 3 races to the Friday card.
